Paris Saint-Germain's perfect start to the Ligue 1 season came to an end on Sunday with a 2-0 defeat at Rennes. Gaetan Laborde opened the scoring for Rennes in the 40th minute, and Martin Terrier added another in the 61st minute. PSG's defeat was their first of the season and leaves them three points behind leaders Rennes.
In other Ligue 1 action, Angers held on to defeat Lille 1-0, while Lens defeated Brest 3-2. FC Nantes and Lorient played to a 1-1 draw.
